About The Position

We’re hiring a founding product designer to help shape the future of hospitality technology by designing the core operating system for modern restaurants. The role involves working with a small, fast-moving team and partnering with restaurant brands. The designer will shape product direction with the founder, collaborate closely with engineering, establish design systems and tooling, and learn directly from restaurant operators about their workflows and constraints. The role is in person five days per week in SoHo.

Requirements

• Experience designing products from 0 to 1.
• Strong systems design and information architecture skills.
• Ability to simplify complex data models into intuitive user experiences.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong visual taste and attention to detail.
• Comfort designing for non-technical users solving complex problems.
• Ownership mindset and strong product instincts.
• Experience with the latest AI tools and building internal design harnesses.
• Interest in hospitality, restaurants, or consumer-facing software.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in brand and graphic design to support the go-to-market team on brand activations.

Responsibilities

• Design complex, data-driven interfaces for CRM dashboards, guest profiles, segmentation tools, reporting, and campaign builders.
• Turn data from POS, reservations, reviews, email, and SMS into clear, intuitive workflows for operators.
• Define information architecture and interaction patterns for products used daily by non-technical teams.
• Partner with engineering to deliver thoughtful, high-quality interfaces.
• Work directly with the founder to shape product direction and translate the brand into product design.
• Establish design standards, systems, and tooling that scale with the company.
• Meet with restaurant operators to understand their workflows and real-world constraints.
• Potentially collaborate with the go-to-market team on brand activations using brand and graphic design experience.
