Founding Commercial Lead

Rockstar•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Rockstar is recruiting for a market infrastructure company accelerating the commercialization of clean energy and industrial technologies. The client is building an AI-native platform that connects energy suppliers with hyperscalers and data center developers. The platform automates diligence, structures deals, and helps participants move from evaluation to signed agreements faster. Its first product focuses on clean, reliable power for data centers, with plans to expand into other critical industrial inputs over time. This founding role will lead commercial strategy and execution for offtake agreements, power purchase agreements, fuel contracts, and innovative procurement structures. The individual will build relationships with buyers, project developers, and investors; originate and close deals; standardize project diligence; and translate customer needs into product requirements. As a founding operator, the person will move between strategic leadership and hands-on operational or customer-facing work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. The client is seeking someone motivated by climate impact and energized by building from zero to one. The company highlights founding ownership, meaningful equity, compensation that scales with funding and traction, leading climate investors, experienced advisers, and early deal traction. Its values include ownership, collaboration, compassion, and comfort creating structure amid ambiguity.
