  • Hands-on execution skills, including prospecting, demonstrating, writing proposals, negotiating, and following through independently.
  • Precise communication and ability to create structure without an established sales organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with industrial AI, energy software, forecasting, or optimization.
  • An existing energy-sector network.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer decisions by investigating workflows, existing tools, economic stakes, available data, and operating constraints, and identifying key stakeholders.
  • Shape evaluations and proposals by collaborating with engineering and machine-learning teams to define scope, baselines, success criteria, data requirements, and commercial next steps, linking technical performance to measurable customer value.
  • Close paid engagements by leading demonstrations, developing pricing and proposals, navigating procurement, and negotiating agreements.
  • Expand successful relationships by staying involved as deployments begin, establishing delivered value, and identifying additional opportunities for adoption across assets, teams, and workflows.
  • Build a repeatable commercial approach by maintaining an accurate pipeline, incorporating customer needs into product decisions, developing reusable sales materials, and distinguishing scalable opportunities from bespoke work.
