About The Position

Solstice is redefining how life sciences organizations commercialize their products. We are building a commercial engine that allows pharmaceutical marketers to take control of their content supply chain and launch campaigns at 100x the speed. This role is for someone who will be the tip of the spear for Solstice's growth. You will own the top of the funnel end to end: finding the right pharmaceutical marketing teams, identifying key stakeholders, and securing meetings. This is not a typical BDR role; you will sit alongside Directors of Partnerships on major accounts, influencing strategy and outreach. The role blends research, outbound strategy, and execution, with significant influence on the go-to-market motion. Success relies on understanding the account, brand, and individual. Your insights from being the first point of contact will directly inform sales strategies, messaging, and systems. This entry-level commercial role offers a clear path to a senior GTM position for high performers.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years in a BDR, sales development, growth, GTM, or similarly analytical and outbound-facing role, or a strong track record demonstrating potential.
  • Ability to structure ambiguity: Take a broad target market and create a prioritized list of accounts and people with clear reasoning.
  • Sharp written communication skills: Ability to frame a value proposition effectively to engage busy senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort with GTM tooling: Familiarity with or eagerness to master outbound platforms like Clay, modern CRMs, and sequencing tools.
  • AI-native: Default to using AI tools (LLMs, etc.) for research, writing, and automation to increase efficiency.
  • Operator mentality: Enjoy building, improving, and streamlining processes in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional organizational skills: Ability to manage numerous touchpoints across many accounts without errors.
  • High work ethic and drive: Hunger to build something great with an exceptional work ethic.
  • Commercial curiosity: Ability to learn and master life sciences commercial strategy and understand customer purchasing motivations.

Nice To Haves

  • Pharma marketing or life sciences experience is optional.

Responsibilities

  • Own the pipeline: Source and qualify accounts and stakeholders in big pharma and emerging biotech, maintaining a clean, prioritized funnel.
  • Run outbound end to end: Build automated and personalized sequences using tools like Clay, frame the value proposition for each buyer, and iterate on successful strategies.
  • Book meetings: Secure meetings with relevant pharmaceutical marketing leaders to set up Directors of Partnerships for success.
  • Partner with senior GTM leadership: Collaborate with Directors of Partnerships on key accounts to map organizations, identify decision-makers, and shape outreach strategies.
  • Improve the machine: Own operational improvements for the CRM and outbound stack, including data hygiene, sequence design, and reporting.
  • Build compounding relationships: Develop rapport with prospects and early-stage customers, serving as a trusted first point of contact.
  • Own an internal workstream: Contribute to internal initiatives in areas like GTM operations, messaging, market research, or other areas of interest.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to sit next to Directors of Partnerships on biggest accounts.
  • Real influence over how our GTM motion is built.
  • Clear runway to grow into a senior GTM role.
  • Opportunity to learn faster than anyone what resonates and what falls flat.
  • Opportunity to feed insights directly back into how we sell, what we say, and how our systems work.
  • Opportunity to be a jack of all trades and live outside the box.
