About The Position

Dealops is an AI-driven platform that enables flexible pricing, streamlines workflows, and boosts sales performance. As the Founding Account Manager, you will be responsible for the post-sale relationship with clients, ensuring their success, retention, and growth. This is the first dedicated post-sale hire, offering the opportunity to build the account management playbook from scratch and partner directly with the CEO and GTM lead to define world-class account management practices. The role is based in San Francisco and requires a self-starter excited to own a book of business and build foundational systems for revenue retention and growth.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in a client-facing role such as Account Management, Customer Success, or post-sale ownership at a fast-growing B2B SaaS or AI startup.
  • Proven track record owning retention and expansion, with experience hitting renewal or NRR/quota targets.
  • Experience growing mid-market or enterprise accounts and navigating multi-stakeholder relationships across RevOps, Finance, and Sales.
  • Exceptional business intuition and the ability to connect product capabilities to customer outcomes.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the pace of early-stage environments; ability to build from zero.

  • Experience with B2B Pricing, CPQ, GTM, or RevOps tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build the AM playbook: Codify onboarding flows, expansion triggers, health scoring, and renewal motions into repeatable systems.
  • Deepen customer relationships: Become a trusted advisor to Heads of Pricing, RevOps, and Finance leaders, conducting QBRs, executive check-ins, and health reviews.
  • Drive expansion: Identify opportunities for upsell and cross-sell to grow accounts.
  • Collaborate deeply with GTM, Product, and Engineering to close expansion deals, resolve issues, and incorporate customer feedback into the product roadmap.
