Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working in a donor relation and/or fundraising environment.
  • Exceptional written communication skills to prepare, proofread, and edit a variety of correspondence and reports for correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals doing business from within and outside the Company.
  • Mastery skills of software programs MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Fluent in speaking, reading and writing Spanish and English.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields of marketing, communications, business administration preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project and administrative support.
  • Assume administrative responsibilities including scheduling meetings, processing gifts/donations, and handling accounting processes for the Foundation.
  • Contribute to donor engagement activities by drafting emails, mailings, and gift acknowledgement letters.
  • Manage donor records.
  • Maintain donor relations via phone, in person, and through written correspondence.
  • Ensure the integrity of the donation database by creating, organizing, and updating donor profiles.
  • Run customized stewardship and fund reports, as well as queries.
  • Assist in the design, publication, and production of philanthropic materials.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of fundraising events.
  • Handle highly confidential material.
  • Other duties as assigned by Leadership.
