About The Position

As a Foundation Coordinator, you’ll help bring the mission of Veterans United Foundation to life by building meaningful connections with employees, community partners, and organizations that make a difference. From coordinating events and employee engagement efforts to supporting outreach initiatives and partnerships, you’ll play a hands-on role in helping strengthen communities and support Veterans and military families. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where no two days look exactly the same, but every day gives you the opportunity to make a real impact.

Requirements

Genuinely enjoy helping people and building strong relationships with employees, community partners, and organizations.
Organized, adaptable, and comfortable juggling multiple projects and priorities at once.
Strong communication skills, whether writing an email, coordinating an event, or speaking with community partners.
Thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments where collaboration and flexibility are key.
Comfortable handling confidential or sensitive information with professionalism and maturity.
Comfortable with technology and can confidently navigate the tools needed for an internet-based company.
Consistent attendance and reliability in getting the job done.
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel locally or to branch locations when needed.

Experience with event planning, committee involvement, or nonprofit/community outreach.

Responsibilities

Coordinating employee engagement initiatives, committee elections, annual surveys, and Foundation-related events that help connect employees to the VUF mission.
Supporting day-to-day operational tasks like documenting donations, handling bank deposits, ordering supplies, and assisting with Foundation logistics.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with community organizations and partners to support meaningful collaboration opportunities.
Working alongside Marketing, Internal Communications, and other teams to help share stories, coordinate messaging, and keep communication flowing smoothly.
Helping review scholarship applications, partnership funding requests, and other Foundation support opportunities with care and attention to detail.
Supporting morale-boosting campaigns, awareness initiatives, and educational events that encourage employee participation and long-term support of the Foundation.
Pitching in wherever needed to help foster a supportive and collaborative team culture.
