About The Position

Foster parents provide a safe, supportive home for youth and offer consistency, structure, positive guidance, mentoring, and encouragement. They help with school, appointments, activities, and daily routines, and build a positive adult relationship with a young person as they work toward becoming successful, independent adults.

Foster parent compensation is provided monthly and is based on the youth’s approved rate and level of care. The amount may vary based on the youth’s individual needs and placement, and is intended to help support the care and services provided to the youth in the home.

Rite of Passage provides foster parents with training, ongoing support, and guidance. Its team works alongside foster families to help them understand youths’ needs and provide support for a successful placement.
