Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Services, Education, Humanities, or related field
- Two years of related experience working with children and families in a therapeutic treatment environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with consistent access to reliable transportation and automobile insurance in good standing.
- POPS certification (Profiles of Parenting) - will be provided if needed

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive interviews with prospective foster parents to assess readiness and suitability
- Complete home safety assessments using DCS home study checklist to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Evaluate and approve homes based on DCS policies for foster family selection
- Develop detailed home study narratives utilizing the Profiles of Parenting (POP) assessment tool
- Compile, maintain, and submit complete foster family files in accordance with agency and state requirements
- Obtain and maintain POPS (Profiles of Parenting) certification; training provided as needed
