Therapeutic Home Specialist (Foster Care)
About The Position
The Therapeutic Home Specialist (Treatment Coordinator) supervises and supports therapeutic home providers in maintaining and delivering high quality behavioral health services to Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) individuals who have a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This position participates as an active member of the treatment team by: conducting assessments; facilitating service/ treatment plan development, review and implementation, developing, supporting, and monitoring behavioral interventions; performing crisis intervention/stabilization through consultation and support; and coordinating services.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work or another related human-service field.
- Two (2) years related experience with a bachelor's degree.
- Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards).
- Valid New Mexico Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check.
- Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable).
- Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results.
- Ability to attend full time New Hire Orientation Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm (paid).
Nice To Haves
- A master’s degree from an accredited program in social work or another human-services field is preferred.
- No additional experience required with a Master's degree.
