About The Position

Earthjustice's Fossil Fuels program is dedicated to confronting the aggressive expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure, which escalates harm to communities and locks in future fossil fuel use. The program utilizes litigation, administrative advocacy, and partnerships to end U.S. oil and gas extraction and production, and to stop new infrastructure projects like petrochemical facilities, export terminals, and pipelines, with a focus on the U.S. Gulf Region and Appalachia. Founded in 1971, Earthjustice has a proven history of achieving significant and lasting environmental protections by leveraging the power of law and collaboration to safeguard public health, preserve natural environments, promote clean energy, and combat climate change.
