About The Position

BizzyCar is hiring its founding Forward Deployed Solutions Engineer to implement, launch, and support AI products at customer dealerships. The role is customer-facing and field-based, with ownership of dealership implementations from kickoff through go-live and early hypercare. The engineer configures solutions to each dealership’s systems and workflows, validates data across systems, trains staff, troubleshoots live issues, and coordinates with engineering and product teams. The position will help develop the implementation playbook as BizzyCar expands its go-to-market approach. The role is hybrid, requiring a few days in the office each month and 50–70% travel to client dealerships.

Requirements

  • Hands-on integration and configuration experience, including connecting a product to external systems through APIs, webhooks, or configuration tools and validating the result end-to-end.
  • Troubleshooting and log-diagnosis skills, including reproducing issues and distinguishing configuration problems from product bugs.
  • Experience delivering customer training or enablement, ideally for non-technical audiences.
  • Implementation or deployment project-management experience, including owning a kickoff-to-go-live timeline and its stakeholders.
  • Comfort validating and verifying data across systems, such as confirming records, statuses, or availability sync correctly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with customer discovery and workflow mapping, translating customer processes into product configuration.
  • Experience with issue triage and escalation in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Light scripting or SQL skills for querying data or performing quick validations.
  • Experience writing runbooks, SOPs, or setup documentation for support-team handoff.
  • Familiarity with SaaS implementation and deployment methodologies, including onboarding, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Familiarity with APIs and integration patterns, including REST, webhooks, and authentication.
  • Familiarity with automotive retail or fixed operations, including service drives, repair orders, recalls, and dealership workflows.
  • Familiarity with DMS and scheduling systems such as CDK, Reynolds, Tekion, Xtime, or myKaarma.
  • Familiarity with data structures and validation concepts.
  • Familiarity with support and escalation processes, including tiers, SLAs, and handoffs.
  • Familiarity with change management or adoption principles.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance basics, including PII handling and call-recording consent.

Responsibilities

  • Own dealer implementations from kickoff through go-live and early hypercare.
  • Configure solutions for each dealership by mapping its service-drive workflow and technology stack into product configuration, using structured discovery and collaboration with engineering.
  • Validate that customer, availability, recall, and repair order (RO) data flow correctly across systems before go-live.
  • Train non-technical dealership staff and manage the change process to support adoption.
  • Manage implementation timelines, stakeholders, and go-live dates.
  • Troubleshoot live issues by reproducing them, reading logs, and distinguishing configuration problems from product bugs.
  • Resolve issues directly when appropriate and prepare clear escalations for engineering when needed.
  • Write repeatable runbooks, standard operating procedures, and handoff materials for future implementations and support teams.
  • Relay specific, reliable customer and field feedback to the product team.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $80,000–$110,000, plus commission on renewals and expansion revenue; stated OTE is $150,000.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan and equity.
  • Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays.
  • Career growth opportunities within the Sales and Customer Success organization.
  • Ongoing training and development, including access to sales enablement tools and enterprise account strategy resources.
