About The Position

The AI Forward Deployed Engineer works directly with enterprise customers to understand procurement, ERP, and operational workflows, then designs and implements integrations, backend services, and AI-powered automations. The role owns technical solutions from requirements gathering and design through implementation, deployment, production support, and ongoing improvement. It may involve work across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and AI-powered workflows, with customer visits in New York City approximately 1–2 times per month. The company is building an AI-powered autonomous supply chain platform that automates procurement workflows for mid-market and upper mid-market businesses. The engineering team is lean and generalist-oriented, and emphasizes customer-first development, end-to-end ownership, first-principles problem-solving, and rapid execution. Engineers collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify reusable patterns from customer deployments and help shape the core product.
