As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at RevoData, you embed with clients to design and build AI solutions that solve real business problems. You combine strong technical skills with curiosity and pragmatism, and you enjoy bridging the gap between experimentation and production.

Requirements

Experience across the full lifecycle of AI systems - from early experimentation to deployment and monitoring.
Experience making AI systems reliable in production.
Experience moving beyond simple prompts and building production-grade GenAI applications, including RAG architectures, agentic workflows, and fine-tuning, using platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI, or similar.
Experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic AI, Hugging Face, or DSPy.
Understanding of how to structure and orchestrate AI-driven applications beyond simple prototypes.
Experience establishing baselines, defining metrics, and iterating against them to show measurable improvements.
Understanding of LLMOps & MLOps, including experiment tracking, model versioning, observability, and deployment (e.g. MLflow or comparable tooling).
Ability to build automated pipelines that handle monitoring, evaluation, and CI/CD for both traditional ML and LLMs.
Experience working with data in real environments and understanding how to design training and inference pipelines that scale with usage and complexity.
Extensive experience with Python and its data/ML libraries.
Ability to write clean, testable, well-structured code.
Favouring focused, self-contained solutions over sprawling ones.
Understanding of what not to build under real-world time and budget constraints.
Experience deploying or working with AI solutions in environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
Understanding the basics of building and running systems in the cloud.
Client-facing experience.
Ability to advise clients.
Ability to translate a vague business challenge into a technical roadmap.
Ability to lead a project from scoping to delivery.
Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Databricks (or a Databricks certification - e.g. ML Engineer or GenAI Engineer)
Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Experience with LLMOps tooling in production environments (evaluation, monitoring, drift detection)
