About The Position

Convr is hiring a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) to work at the intersection of software architecture, hands-on engineering, product strategy, and technical consulting. The role embeds with strategic customers to address complex problems while identifying recurring needs that can become scalable features in Convr’s core SaaS platform. The position is not limited to one-off customer integrations; it combines delivering customer value with informing the product’s technical direction. The FDSE will lead feature design and implementation across the full stack, build production-ready integrations and workflows, and work with customer stakeholders to define future-state solutions. The engineer will contribute to a stable and reliable platform through CI/CD, testing, and performance monitoring, while mentoring teammates and promoting engineering best practices. The role requires ownership of deployments, a focus on scalable solutions, and the ability to work autonomously with customers and internal teams. Convr’s AI underwriting, data, and intelligent document automation workbench serves commercial property and casualty insurers. Its platform supports underwriting workflows from submission through quote, using an AI decisioning context engine grounded in a commercial insurance ontology.
