About The Position

Dirac is building BuildOS, a creative suite for manufacturing engineering that brings fragmented production-planning workflows together. Dirac describes its approach as Model-Based Manufacturing, using context-aware production planning to connect design and manufacturing, automate repeatable work, and capture tribal knowledge. The company describes its culture as mission-driven, high-trust, high-agency, and high-autonomy. As a Forward Deployed Manufacturing Engineer, you will work directly with manufacturing teams to translate real-world build processes into structured, scalable workflows in BuildOS. You will help customers move from legacy processes to a model-based, software-driven system, working closely with them during pilots and early deployments to support understanding and successful adoption. The role is hybrid, based in New York City, and involves frequent travel to customer sites. Employment is restricted to U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR.
