About The Position

Rockstar is recruiting for an early-stage, Charlotte-based company building a new data and onboarding platform for multi-unit franchise operators. The client is already working with operators behind brands such as Jersey Mike’s, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Little Caesars, and Marco’s Pizza. About the Role The person in this role will collaborate with operators, learn where their data breaks, and build the integrations and pipelines that get them live with numbers they can trust. They will also design the onboarding system itself, so each new operator goes live faster than the last. There is no playbook yet, so they will build it with the client’s co-founder and CPO, the Customer Success Lead, and the product and engineering teams. The person will be joining a team with experience from Palantir, Y Combinator, Techstars, FullStory, and Dell, among others.

Requirements

Comfortable working with messy customer data.
Experience modeling data for business analytics.
Ability to explain data problems clearly to both operators and engineers.
Writes reusable code to improve the platform for future customers.
Comfortable building with AI tools like Claude Code.
Ability to scope tightly and ship solutions.
Desire to help define great onboarding at an early-stage company.
2+ years of post-college experience, ideally in data and system integration.
Strong SQL skills.
Strong TypeScript skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with restaurant or franchise data.
Familiarity with Toast, PAR, Xenial, or Qu.
Experience with dbt or ClickHouse.

Responsibilities
