GECX AI Forward Deployed Engineer - Senior Software Engineer

Capgemini•Atlanta, GA
•$89,400 - $166,398•Hybrid

About The Position

Capgemini is hiring an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, build, integrate, deploy, and support production-grade conversational and Agentic AI applications. The role involves hands-on software development with Python, APIs, and JSON; building agents with Gemini, Vertex AI, Google ADK, and applicable agent frameworks; and delivering RAG and enterprise-grounding solutions over structured and unstructured data. The engineer will integrate agents with enterprise APIs, databases, CRM, contact-center platforms, and backend systems, while developing full-stack components, implementing security, and deploying on GCP. The position also focuses on agent evaluation, tracing, observability, guardrails, regression testing, and diagnosing production issues across agent logic, prompts, retrieval, tools, APIs, infrastructure, and distributed services. The engineer will prototype solutions and develop validated prototypes toward production readiness, working directly with customer engineering teams to reproduce issues, debug implementations, and resolve technical blockers. This is a hybrid role based across Atlanta, Dallas, Nashville, Houston, New Jersey, and Chicago.
