About The Position

Synera is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) who is passionate about automation and AI to solve meaningful problems, collaborate with customers, and craft innovative workflows. This role involves helping companies like NASA, BMW, and Airbus transform their engineering processes. The FDE will build workflows and multi-agent systems in Synera, identify new use cases with customers, visit customers regularly (up to 50%), fill functionality gaps with scripts and custom add-ins, optimize agent prompts, and communicate with product managers to integrate temporary solutions into the product. A typical week involves customer alignment, workflow development, customer workshops, sprint reviews, and knowledge exchange sessions with colleagues.

Requirements

US permanent resident located on the West Coast, ideally in Silicon Valley
Technical background in the Computational, Automation or Mechanical Engineering field
Proven experience in working with customers, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to showcase business value with technical solutions
Experience with CAD/CAE tools (e.g. OptiStruct, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, LS-DYNA etc.)
Experience in C# and Python coding
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Fluent in English and enjoy collaborating with clients and explaining complex topics in a clear, engaging manner
