About The Position

We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy multi-modal, agentic AI systems into production environments with measurable business impact. This is not a traditional implementation role. A high-growth Series A AI company rebuilding the foundation of the insurance industry. Multi-seven-figure ARR in under one year. Growing 50% month over month. Backed by Tier 1 investors. You are not just integrating software — you are building, iterating, and evolving AI systems inside real enterprise environments.

Requirements

5+ years in a hybrid technical + client-facing role (FDE, growth engineer, founder, solutions engineer + backend depth)
Strong Python foundation
API integrations + cloud fluency
Practical LLM / prompt engineering experience
Familiar with agentic systems
Uses AI-assisted dev tools daily
Founder-mode ownership mindset
Willing to relocate to SF and work in-person

Backend engineering + strong client-facing depth

Responsibilities

Deploy agentic AI systems end-to-end (scope → build → integrate → go-live)
Serve as primary technical point of contact for senior stakeholders
Build and iterate AI agents (prompt engineering, model integration, multi-modal systems)
Integrate APIs and enterprise systems hands-on
Prototype rapidly using AI-assisted coding workflows
Capture deployment learnings into scalable internal playbooks
Feed production insights back into core product architecture
Own deployments end-to-end
Shape product direction based on real-world usage
Work directly with CTO and engineering
Operate in founder-mode with high ownership
