About The Position

Salesforce is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineering intern for its Global Public Sector team. The intern will help build and deploy AI agent solutions for government, nonprofit, and education organizations, working alongside Senior Forward Deployed Engineers and a Deployment Strategist. The role includes shadowing customer work and owning projects that may support customer solutions, with structured mentorship throughout the program. The 12-week remote internship provides experience building with AI-powered development tools, learning from engineers who have shipped AI systems at scale, observing customer working sessions and project reviews, and working with Agentforce and Salesforce’s evolving AI platform. Interns are encouraged to experiment with AI tools, models, and frameworks and share their findings. The program culminates in a capstone project presentation.
