About The Position

monday.com is hiring a Forward Deployed Consultant for its Professional Services team. The role trains, advises, and consults with customers to optimize their use of the monday.com AI work platform during AI transformation, implementation, and managed services engagements. The consultant designs and builds AI-native solutions, including agentic workflows, automations, and reporting, working independently and with delivery teams that include deployment strategists and engineers. This hybrid position requires three days per week in the Denver office and travel of up to 20% of the time. The consultant leads customer engagements, discovers business outcomes, advises on business process design, configures sophisticated workflows and relational data structures, and uses monday AI and external generative and agentic AI tools. Responsibilities also include project management, customer training and demonstrations, engagement documentation, customer advocacy, and contributing reusable assets to a shared library.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a forward deployed consultant, implementation consultant, solutions consultant, or technical project manager in enterprise software.
  • Experience leading software implementation or managed services projects involving hands-on building and configuration in project management, CRM, service desk, or collaborative work management software.
  • Fluency with generative and agentic AI tools and a strong understanding of applying AI to productivity and intelligent workflows and agents.
  • Familiarity with making AI reliable in production, including human review, checking outputs, and choosing deterministic automation when appropriate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills grounded in computational thinking, systems design, and relational data structures.
  • Business process design and consulting experience, business acumen for framing engagements around customer outcomes, and judgment to identify implicit problems behind explicit requests.
  • Working knowledge of integration platforms such as Make.com and Zapier sufficient to configure lightweight integrations; foundational knowledge of APIs (GraphQL) and MCP is a plus.
  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills, including credibility with client stakeholders and executives and the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to learn and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies across changing customers and industries.
  • Detail orientation and strong project management skills; ability to run engagements independently and manage several at once.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, a positive attitude, empathy, high energy, initiative, and adaptability.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • BA or BS degree preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of GraphQL APIs and MCP.
