About The Position

The Forward Deployed AI Engineer works with professional service groups, construction project teams, and Digital Team colleagues to understand business processes and deliver AI-enabled improvements. The engineer prototypes, builds, and deploys solutions using Microsoft Copilot/Cowork, Claude, vendor AI tools and agents, and custom applications. The role also extracts value from unstructured data, integrates secure APIs and cloud infrastructure, and contributes value and feasibility input to the AI roadmap. Responsible AI practices, measurable adoption and business impact, and clear communication help ensure that solutions are useful, secure, and adopted.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or eight years of equivalent experience, plus a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience. The company is not currently offering sponsorship for this role.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience using Python and SQL.
• At least 2 years of infrastructure experience with Azure or a similar cloud platform.
• At least 2 years of experience with unstructured-data repositories, including documents, PDFs, emails, and file shares.
• At least 2 years of experience in SDLC practices, REST APIs, and OAuth 2.0.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
