About The Position

The Forward Deployed AI Engineer works with professional service groups, construction project teams, and Digital Team colleagues to understand business processes and deliver AI-enabled improvements. The role prototypes, builds, and deploys solutions using Microsoft Copilot/Cowork, Claude, vendor AI tools and agents, and custom applications. It extracts value from unstructured data, integrates secure APIs and cloud infrastructure, and contributes value and feasibility input to the AI roadmap. Responsible AI practices, measurable adoption and business impact, and clear communication help ensure solutions are useful, secure, and adopted.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience using Python and SQL.
• At least 2 years of infrastructure experience with Azure or a similar cloud platform.
• At least 2 years of experience with unstructured-data repositories, including documents, PDFs, emails, and file shares.
• At least 2 years of experience in SDLC practices such as code review, version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• At least 1 year of experience building or integrating with REST APIs, including authentication patterns such as OAuth 2.0.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
