About The Position

Adobe's Growth Marketing & Insights (GMI) organization is undergoing a significant transformation, placing AI at the core of its operations. The Forward Deployed AI Engineer role is central to this reinvention. As part of the AI Strategy & Innovation (AISI) team, you will be embedded within the Lifecycle Marketing (LCM) team, collaborating closely with them to develop tools and automations that fundamentally change their daily workflows. Your primary objective is to redesign and enhance repeatable processes such as briefs, intake, reviews, approvals, launches, reporting, and analytics. You will also contribute to the broader AISI team by sharing your work, integrating others' innovations, and establishing scalable best practices across GMI. The success of this role is measured by the tangible improvements made to how marketing professionals work.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical experience.
  • 2+ years building and deploying AI applications.
  • Technical experience involving analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and collaboration.
  • Expertise in AI development platforms and tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, agent frameworks, API integrations, Azure, AWS, etc.).
  • Expertise in Python, SQL, and at least one other common language.
  • Hands-on experience building AI-powered tools, automations, or agentic systems that change how real work gets done.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to make technical ideas accessible to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to meet people where they are across different stages of AI fluency.

  • Familiarity with Adobe's marketing technology ecosystem: Experience Manager, GenStudio for Performance Marketing, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Workfront, etc.

Responsibilities
