About The Position

Formulation Technician I (Contract) – Sunnyvale, CA About the Role Join our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) in Sunnyvale, CA as a Formulation Technician I and help deliver industry-leading chromatography solutions. As part of a collaborative and safety-focused manufacturing lab, you will assemble, pack, and test ion exchange media crucial for chromatography consumables. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals eager to expand in a high-impact scientific environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, lab, or related field
Knowledge of Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices (GLP/GMP)
Strong mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficient verbal and written communication
Ability to read and follow SOPs and verbal instructions
Familiarity with hand tools (wrenches, torque drivers, tweezers)
Basic PC literacy, including spreadsheets and databases
Capability to lift/move up to 40 pounds and work safely with chemicals and lab equipment

Nice To Haves

Chromatography software experience
Background in chemistry
Experience accurately weighing components

Responsibilities

Assemble, pack, and test resin products using specialized instruments to fulfill customer orders
Accurately record and report test results; maintain detailed documentation and production logs
Complete production work-orders following established procedures and quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment; actively participate in safety initiatives
Use hand tools for assembly and troubleshooting tasks
Support business goals by performing additional duties as assigned
Work Monday–Friday, 6:00AM–2:30PM, with overtime and weekend shifts as needed
