About The Position

Formulation Technician I – Sunnyvale, CA (Contract, 2nd Shift) About the Role Join the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division (CMD) in Sunnyvale, CA, and contribute to the development of industry-leading chromatography solutions. As a Formulation Technician I, you’ll play a hands-on role in synthesizing and testing ion exchange media, directly impacting the quality of our consumable products. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in a lab, production, manufacturing, or operations environment
Proficiency in Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices
Strong mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
Comfortable using hand tools and standard PC software, including spreadsheets and databases
Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and working with exposure to chemicals (PPE provided)

Nice To Haves

Experience with chromatography software
Chemistry background or coursework

Responsibilities

Synthesize, test, and document ion exchange media in a manufacturing laboratory setting
Operate specialized instruments to conduct resin product testing and ensure products meet stringent customer requirements
Accurately record data, maintain thorough documentation, and complete production work-orders per SOPs
Adhere to strict corporate quality policies and Good Laboratory Practices to ensure product excellence
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace; actively engage in safety improvement initiatives
Use standard hand tools and computer software for daily tasks
