About The Position

This role involves the operation and maintenance of various machinery and equipment within a production environment. The Forming Technician will be responsible for lubricating and moving heavy production machinery, performing non-skilled maintenance tasks, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This includes tasks such as lubricating press machines, servicing pressure pumps, and performing concrete work as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lubricate heavy production machinery and equipment in accordance with prescribed methods.
• Maintain overall quality awareness.
• General and detailed verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate press machines and takeouts with grease and oil.
• Grease table bearings on machines during job changes.
• Service pressure pumps, oil and drive boxes.
• Move machinery and equipment throughout the plant in accordance with maintenance and production requirements.
• Perform various non-skilled maintenance labor tasks throughout the plant.
• Maintain quality housekeeping and good safety practices in the work area.
• Perform concrete work as required.
• Do other work as required by supervision.
