About The Position
Direct Hire Opening: Forming Operator (1st or 2nd Shift Available) Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the role. Starting pay depends on your skills, experience, and ability to perform the job. Operation of a Press Brake to form steel components for application in heavy industrial, energy, and defense industries.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience on Press Brakes
- Tape Measure and basic math skills
Nice To Haves
- Overhead crane and towmotor experience preferred
- Experience within the manufacturing industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Understand and interpret blue prints and technical drawings.
- Operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment
- Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements
- Adhere to lean manufacturing initiatives, work instructions, quality requirements, and safety programs.
- Maintain proper operator level preventive maintenance to ensure continuous machine operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Other duties as assigned
