About The Position

The Former Installer operates and monitors Formers on production lines and needs an in-depth understanding of their technical and operational aspects. This is a manual, hands-on role involving equipment operation, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across multiple pieces of equipment.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. through the New Year. After that, the schedule will be either Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., or Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m. The second shift includes a 5% shift differential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Industrial maintenance experience in a related industry.
• Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Physical movement, coordination, and dexterity.
• Attention to detail, versatility, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use, repair, and maintain machines and tools.
• Ability to work while standing for extended periods, walking around the facility, squatting, and occasionally lifting or moving heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Report mechanical problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and support continuous improvement.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and required work-safe practices.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Monitor productivity and quality to optimize production-line efficiency.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns.
• Focus on the resources and goals of the AN Former’s team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
