About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Commercial Concrete Formers for projects located in or around Phoenix, Arizona. This is a first-shift opportunity paying $24–$34 per hour, based on experience and skill level. The role involves commercial concrete formwork and related construction tasks while working alongside craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and quality workmanship. Travel to Casa Grande, Arizona, may be required as project needs dictate.

Requirements

• Previous concrete form carpentry experience.
• Experience building, setting, and stripping gang forms.
• Experience with concrete deck shoring systems.
• Knowledge of rebar placement and formwork operations.
• Ability to perform stick framing using plywood and dimensional lumber.
• Must provide tools of the trade.
• Must have and be experienced in the proper use of a personal fall protection harness.
• Must be willing to travel to Casa Grande, Arizona, as project needs require.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
• Must provide and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a crew.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with snap ties, cowbells, and fiberglass Sigma Rod systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, set, pour, and strip gang forms.
• Erect, place, and remove concrete deck shoring systems.
• Set rebar racks and move rebar as needed to clear tie holes.
• Perform stick framing using plywood and 2x4 materials.
• Work with snap ties, cowbells, and fiberglass Sigma Rod systems.
• Assist with concrete placement activities as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow project safety requirements and jobsite procedures.
