About The Position
Openwork is hiring a full-time Forklift Warehouse Worker for a client in Houston, Texas. The position is with a U.S.-based, employee-owned company specializing in distribution and fabrication services. The role offers a stable weekday schedule, potential overtime based on business needs, and opportunities for long-term growth and advancement. Forklift certification and training are provided. Pay is $17–$18 per hour, with weekly paychecks. Healthcare, dental, and vision benefits are available.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of forklift operation experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification; certification and training are provided.
- Basic computer or RF scanner experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move materials.
- Load, unload, and stock inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders for timely customer shipments.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety protocols.
- Use scanners or basic computer tools to track inventory.
