About The Position

The Forklift Team Member performs a variety of warehouse duties to ensure accurate and safe shipment of goods to and from customers. Duties may include operating forklifts and cranes, handling inventory, receiving and shipping, and using production or processing equipment. The role also supports workplace safety, maintains product paperwork, and participates in team meetings and training. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, repack, and place items.
• Use tools and visual aids to confirm quantities of freight received and shipped.
• Operate a forklift and/or crane for loading and unloading.
• Operate other production or processing machines, such as a scan gun.
• Inspect product before shipping.
• Clean the work area according to 5S standards.
• Enter production data into basic spreadsheet systems.
• Follow approved procedures and precautions.
• Help provide a safe environment for all employees.
• Maintain paperwork for incoming and outgoing products.
• Participate in team meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
