About The Position

The Forklift/PIV Operator works at Stanley Black & Decker’s Willard, Ohio location on first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The position pays $20.60 per hour. The operator supports manufacturing and warehouse operations by moving materials, maintaining accurate inventory, supplying assembly lines, and keeping stock areas organized. The role follows company safety policies and applicable ISO standards and procedures, and provides backup support throughout the department as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Have a valid lift truck operator license or successfully complete lift truck training.
Willingness to learn the facility layout.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn Janus scanning guns and procedures.
Knowledge of the AS400 system or willingness to learn.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Complete the daily forklift safety check sheet.
Load and unload parts or materials from trucks.
Scan parts into and out of stock locations to maintain inventory accuracy.
Keep assembly lines and associated departments supplied with the proper amount of parts while avoiding excess inventory.
Follow SBD Willard safety policies and applicable ISO standards and procedures.
Keep stock areas neat and organized.
Use proper radio etiquette.
Provide backup support throughout the department as needed.
Perform tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Zone Leader.
