About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator at its Salt Lake City, Utah service center. The role involves safely moving different types of freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. The operator works on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., at $27.22 per hour. Employees earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment and are offered a comprehensive benefits package, including access to company employee resorts.

Requirements

• Forklift experience.
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Some LTL experience.
