About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator at its New Orleans, Louisiana service center. The operator moves different types of freight safely into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. Work takes place on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with various shifts. The starting rate is $22.03 per hour, and PTO is available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Some LTL experience.
