About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator at its Shreveport, Louisiana service center. The operator moves different types of freight safely into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. The work takes place on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with various shifts. Starting pay is $22.63 per hour.

Requirements

• Forklift experience.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience.

Responsibilities
