About The Position

Kdc/one is seeking a Forklift Operator in New Albany, Ohio. Forklift Operators support the company’s logistics flow by handling materials that keep production lines moving efficiently. The role operates powered industrial trucks, turret trucks, and reach lifts; moves materials and finished goods; tracks inventory movements; and supports shipping, inventory checks, safety, and maintenance activities. The position also includes helping and mentoring new forklift drivers when needed. KDC is a network of custom formulators and manufacturers of products across beauty, personal care, home, health, industrial, and auto care categories. It has its head office in Longueuil, Québec, and 10 operating facilities across North America, employing nearly 4,800 people.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Raymond Reach Truck experience.
Prior experience operating powered industrial truck equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work around motorized equipment throughout the day.

SAP experience.

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of powered industrial trucks (PIT), turret trucks, and reach lifts.
Unload incoming deliveries, stock materials, and track movements with handheld scanners or SAP.
Pick up materials and components for production runs.
Move unused or finished goods to inventory accurately and carefully.
Complete daily PIT safety and maintenance checklists and promptly report issues.
Assist with cycle counts, quarterly audits, and year-end inventory checks.
Load outgoing trucks to help ensure customer orders are shipped on time and in full.
Support and mentor new forklift drivers when needed.
