About The Position

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring a Forklift Operator to load and unload trailers and railcars and transport loads to designated areas. The operator checks inbound and outbound products for accurate items and quantities and for damage, uses handheld scanners and equipment to comply with the warehouse management system, and assists with cycle counts and physical inventories. The role also includes maintaining forklift equipment and the work area, following company procedures and safety guidelines, and cooperating with other warehouse associates.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and railcars and transport loads to designated areas.
• Check inbound and outbound products to ensure items and quantities are correct and there is no damage.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Recharge batteries, fill fuel tanks, or replace gas tanks.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Follow company procedures and policies to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Follow company safety policies and guidelines to help ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
