About The Position

At Babylist’s Commercial Point Fulfillment Center in Commercial Point, Ohio, the Forklift Operator moves product safely and accurately throughout the distribution center. The role supports inbound and outbound operations, helps keep outbound schedules on track, and works with a team in a fast-paced, on-site environment. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Starting pay is $22.50 per hour, with a $1.75-per-hour weekend differential. The posting says employees receive raises every three months during their first 18 months. The fulfillment center is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day (2027) for the weekend shift; all shifts also receive four floating holidays.

Requirements

Certification and experience on multiple lift types: Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Stand-Up Forklift, and Sit-Down Forklift, with at least 3 years on each.
Follow safety protocols consistently.
Be dependable, stay on task, and maintain work flow during volume spikes.
Adapt to changing priorities and work across zones and tasks.
Communicate clearly, flag issues early, and work collaboratively.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10–12 hours per shift, with scheduled breaks.
Ability to walk extensively, averaging 10,000 or more steps per day.
Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 20 pounds.
Ability to perform frequent pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

Move, locate, stack, and count materials throughout the distribution center using lift equipment.
Load and unload trailers safely, keeping outbound operations on schedule and inbound operations organized.
Support inbound and outbound operations through accurate, timely material handling.
Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Support other warehouse functions as needed.
