About The Position

Forklift Operators sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a warehouse. They work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision, while following company safety policies and procedures. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. The warehouse may be non-temperature-controlled, with indoor temperatures fluctuating throughout the seasons.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of experience operating a stand-up or order picker/cherry picker forklift.
• Experience with RF equipment.
• Able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically exerting warehouse tasks.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
• Able to work overtime and adjust the schedule as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience in a high-volume environment.
• Familiarity with and ability to use order management systems such as WMS.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company or site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Use handheld scanners and other equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance inspections.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Assist with sanitation.
• Perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor.
