About The Position

Forklift Operators sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a warehouse. They work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision, while following company safety policies and procedures. This role is on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least one year of experience operating a stand-up or Order Picker/Cherry Picker forklift.
• Experience with RF equipment.
• Able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically exerting warehouse tasks.
• Able to work in a non-temperature-controlled indoor environment where temperatures fluctuate with the seasons.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
• Able to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in a food-grade or refrigerated warehouse.
• Familiarity with and ability to use order management systems such as WMS.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company or site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Use handheld scanners and other equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance inspections.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor.
