About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Load and Unload worker in Aurora, Colorado. The role involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, pick, stage, and load goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and following workplace safety and quality standards. Training is provided. The position offers weekly pay of $20.00–$20.50 per hour, depending on shift, with overtime available. Applicants must have their own personal vehicle because the location is not accessible without one. Shift options are 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Monday through Saturday. The role requires heavy lifting, including lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, and may involve working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Must have personal transportation and a personal vehicle.
Able to operate a forklift.
Able to perform heavy lifting and maneuver items.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Able to work in the United States.
Proficient in mathematics.
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
High regard for workplace safety.
Current forklift license and certification.
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.

Load and unload experience preferred.
Knowledge of various material-handling equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift or other hand truck.
Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy.
Move materials from the warehouse to workstations, pickup locations, or other locations.
Follow company quality and customer service standards.
Perform cycle counts as required.
Pick, wrap, and stage orders for shipment.
Inspect and perform maintenance on forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
Follow and update inventory activity, lists, and records, and log completed tasks.
Identify workplace safety hazards.
Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods.
Load and unload materials.
