About The Position

Independence Corrugated, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, and a leader in the corrugated manufacturing industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator for their Oak Creek, WI location. This role operates a powered forklift to manage corrugated materials, load and unload goods and scrap, inspect and report forklift defects, and correctly store/load units for customer delivery. Requirements

• 2-3 years of Forklift experience
• Ability to use and read a tape measure
• An energetic, motivated, and dependable worker who is dedicated to the job and team.
• The ability to function as a mature, professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates.
• The ability to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cutting edge technology.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a powered forklift to handle corrugated material
• Load and unload goods & scrap
• Inspect and report forklift defects
• Store and load units correctly for future delivery to customers
• Train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks
