About The Position

Litehouse Foods is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Material Handler II to work at its Hurricane, Utah facility. Litehouse is a 100% employee-owned food manufacturing company that produces refrigerated salad dressings, dips, sauces, herbs, and cheese at four U.S. facilities. The company emphasizes employee ownership, teamwork, community involvement, and career development. The role operates on the second shift, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Starting pay is $19.97 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour for the second shift. The position involves operating powered industrial trucks, handling materials and orders, maintaining inventory records, and following food safety, quality, and workplace organization standards. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Applicants must pass a background check; the company does not offer sponsorship.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
Forklift experience is preferred; certification can be provided if needed.
Comfort working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
Pick and stack customer orders and accurately and safely receive vendor shipments.
Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
Ensure stacking patterns and pallet configurations meet quality and safety standards.
Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
Follow Food Safety and Quality policies.
Work overtime and weekends as required.
