About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator at its West Sacramento, California service center. The role involves safely moving different types of freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long using a forklift. Work takes place on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The hourly rate is $23.53. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with various shifts. Paid time off becomes available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.

Requirements

• Forklift experience.
• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Some less-than-truckload (LTL) experience.
