About The Position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving products within the facility and/or loading products for shipment. The role involves operating machinery to maintain ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The position is full-time in Enid, Oklahoma, and starts at $18.90 per hour. Candidates must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Work may take place in cold or damp environments, with temperatures ranging from 10 degrees below zero to 105 degrees, and on potentially slippery surfaces. The role requires overtime and weekend availability.

Requirements

Basic computer skills to complete required training or tasks.
Ability to read and understand labels, recipes, and instructions, and communicate effectively.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20–70 pounds.
Willingness and ability to work in cold or damp environments, including temperatures from 10 degrees below zero to 105 degrees, and on potentially slippery walking surfaces.
Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends.
Willingness and ability to become certified in pallet jack, fall protection, and forklift operation.
For prior Tyson workers applying to skilled positions: at least 6 months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months.

Responsibilities

Perform mobile equipment operation, stacking, inspections, material checks, racking, and rack pushing.
Maintain lockout/tagout certification.
