About The Position

The Forklift Operator is a full-time position in Enid, Oklahoma, starting at $18.90 per hour. The role is responsible for moving products within the facility and/or loading products for shipment. The operator runs machinery to maintain ongoing production flow while working safely and following Tyson policies and procedures. The position is on the second shift.

Requirements

Basic computer skills to complete required training or tasks.
Ability to read and understand labels, recipes, and instructions, and communicate effectively.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat, and reach.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20–70 pounds.
Ability to work in cold or damp environments, ranging from 10 degrees below zero to 105 degrees, including areas with slippery walking surfaces.
Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends.
For prior Tyson workers applying for skilled positions: at least six months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months.

Responsibilities

Move products within the facility and/or load products for shipment.
Operate machinery to maintain ongoing production flow.
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures.
Perform mobile equipment operation, stacking, inspections, material checks, racking, and rack pushing.
Maintain lockout/tagout certification.
Obtain and maintain certifications in pallet jack, fall protection, and forklift operation.
