About The Position

The Forklift Operator prepares batches, loads and unloads trucks, and maintains accurate paperwork in a productive, safe, and efficient manner. The role also supports product inventory control and warehouse cleanliness and organization, and follows company policies and applicable safety, operating, manufacturing, and quality procedures. Normal shift hours are 2 pm to 10 pm, with overtime as necessary. The listed start rate is $22.05 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Century Foods International manufactures and markets dairy proteins and nutritional products under private-label and contract-manufacturing agreements for the food, sports, health, and nutritional supplement industries. The company is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• Able to acquire and maintain a forklift certification.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to lift 55 lbs on a continuous basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare batches.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation.
• Maintain and assist with product inventory control.
• Maintain and assist in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Report forklift maintenance needs to a supervisor.
• Help keep walkways and fire exits free and visible.
• Follow Century Foods International policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and SQF procedures.
• Assist with other duties assigned by a supervisor or management.
