About The Position

Cumberland Dairy is hiring Warehouse Forklift Operators to operate forklifts and perform warehouse tasks including picking, pulling, and building orders; palletizing products; loading and unloading; staging outbound orders; and maintaining product storage and rotation. Operators handle finished product safely and efficiently, communicate with team members, and follow GMP and SOP rules and regulations. The role pays $20 per hour and follows a Sunday–Thursday second-shift schedule from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least six months of forklift operating experience in a high-efficiency environment.
• Forklift operator certification.
• Pass a written and driving forklift skills test.
• Pass pre-employment drug, background, and criminal screenings.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with the capability to lift up to 80 pounds, and assist others when lifting is necessary.
• Ability to work in an environment maintained at 35–40 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
